I’ll be MIA for a few days as I’ll be traveling for two funerals. If you email/text/call/etc and I don’t get back to you right away please don’t take it personally.
Please keep the Riordan family, Corey family and Serena’s friends & family in your thoughts and prayers.

So yesterday Camber and I spent a little bit of the afternoon at the park again, today it’s gloom and doom here and looks like it may rain at any moment. Not exactly what I need for my girl to be out in when her stitches don’t come out until tomorrow…. we’re both bummed.
Had a migraine and some other issues late last night so I took some meds to help me get rid of the headache as well as get some sleep… um yeah well that worked WONDERFULLY except for the fact I missed two conference calls, two chat conferences and a call from someone I haven’t heard from in quite sometime. Magic pills need a timer ya know lol Someone get to work on inventing that
I’m finally getting my groove and mind going but heck it’s 5:30 now… time to start to wind down not get wound up?!?!?!
Migraines always get in the way of crap ……
I’ve been working on RA’s tour schedule today and I think I might get to come see some of y’all this year…. work has it’s advantages sometimes
Did find out some very good news for a sweet couple I know and I couldn’t be happier for you!
Camber is sleeping/eyeing me, I think she’s doing her version of tapping her foot on “when do we get to go outside and play Mom”
Abigail and I went to see College Road Trip last night at the movies… it was good, not great but good. We were the only ones in the theater so I guess it isn’t so bad that we talked the whole way through lol
Please keep those prayers coming for Serena, Karla and Lee!

A much needed Race Day today! So glad it didn’t rain or snow or any other delay/postponing crap.
Prayers out to Serena and Karla.
Was really hoping that Kasey would catch Bowyer last night.
It’s been a long weekend but not really in a bad way. This not working on the weekend thing is getting harder and harder lol
Thanks to my girls for the goodies lol Much appreciated by all of us!

Ya know, sometimes I get caught up in the “bad/wrong” and forget the “good/right”.
There are a lot of things up in the air, stressful and just totally nuts going on right now in my little corner of the world but you know what…. I don’t care lol It seems to be that way for everyone right now.
Today I had the pleasure of waking up to a beautiful day after a great night’s sleep! Yep I said it, a great night’s sleep. I have insomina a lot so those that know me are celebrating right now lol
After crawling out of bed and getting the day started things started going down hill and I stopped, looked outside, then shook my head…. grabbed my cell phones, chargers for the car (shut up it used to be 3 but I’m down to 2 lol)…put Camber on her leash and headed to the park. While Camber roamed and played I had 2 conference calls and a not so great tech related call but how bad can it be when you’re enjoying 76 degree sunny but not hot weather in a beautiful park? Ducks and all baby… less than 2 miles from my front door. Yes, once I got too close to the ducks and had to explain the sound on the conference call but I think mostly it just made everyone jealous lol
I could have stayed cooped up in the house and been in a crappy mood but sometimes you truly do have to say WTF and take advantage of whatever blessings we have. Today I had Camber and the sunshine to make it all “dealable” not sure if that is a word but oh well… lol
I’m sure everyone that has talked to me this evening is glad that I went to the park lol I know Camber is. She’s a happy baby girl tonight! She says the only thing that could make it better is if one of her aunties were here to go with us
Off to ponder my computer/tech woes and make a hopefully good decision, I usually am very quick to jump on that kind of thing but am taking the time to think it all through before spending anymore cash. Who am I? lol
I hope y’all are all having a great Thursday! If not…well tomorrow is Friday so look forward to that!

Got this from Miss Barbara and had to pass it along
A Dog’s Purpose (from a 6-year-old):
Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.
I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.
As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.
The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker’s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm , petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.
The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker’s death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, “I know why.”
Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I’d never heard a more comforting explanation. He said, “People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life – like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?” The six-year-old continued, “Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay as long.”
Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply
Speak kindly.
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you’re not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Be always grateful for each new day
Today, I wish you a day of ordinary miracles: May joy dance in your soul, may love fill your heart and may peace reign in your home

Got up early and went to breakfast with Dad & Mary then came back home and tired to be productive but quickly realized that wasn’t in the cards. Went back to bed, got up and got ready for the race…well not really lol Normally I make queso and have everything readily available within reach but today I was in “wing it” mode.
As much as I was looking forward to the race today, about an hour in Camber and I went back to bed…. I was pooped and feel pretty crappy. I figured better to crash out today and hopefully feel better come work time in the AM. Gina, I think, slept on and off but thats her norm lol. Sorry I left her alone in the living room but I just figured I was nodding off anyway so I might as well just go get comfortable. Not even the sounds of my favorite Sunday men’s voices was keeping me awake lol Go figure
So all the race texts that I didn’t return…sorry I had the phone(s) on mute so that Camber and I could get some good rest and sleep.
Hate that it seemed most of the guys that I was so tickled about starting up front ended up in the back at the end of the day.
After a several hour “nap” lol I’m up and checking in on things online. Did some work, very little. And am about to head back to sleepy land.
I hope everyone had a great Sunday and that Monday starts out well for y’all!

Okay so I’m suited up now with my GARMIN Nuvi 660 (thanks babe!) that of course was purchased at Best Buy.
Now the question I keep getting from my friends about my new monitor, desktop and a few other smaller toys and business needs….did I shop Best Buy because of being a Sadler fan…. um yes and no lol
I’ve been a Best Buy-a-holic for YEARS! lol Yep I have the rewards card lol and break my neck to make sure that it is included on my orders/purchases. But I do make more of an effort now to purchase there, not that it took much lol
As for the new GPS purchase that was a (much needed) gift that in the card they made sure to point out where it was purchased and that it was all Sadler Sponsor friendly.
Do I have the best friends or what? lol And the best bosses (if anyone is hiring I’m always looking for more bosses lol)
So now I just have to come up with a name for the newest addition to my electronic bag when traveling….awww man another charger to keep up with lmao Rita is taken by Jo, Rita got us through Texas…even if we didn’t agree with her all of the time.
And no I don’t base all of my purchasing on NASCAR sponsorships…I still eat M&Ms and I am sooooo not a fan of their last 2 drivers lol I favored Bud way before Kasey became the new Budman…not that I am not a fan of the old one. I do not own a dodge or a chevy…and am not a big fan of many of the Ford drivers. I bought my Ford because my family works for Ford lol but at the time of my Ford purchase…one of my boys was a Ford driver. I hate Vitamin Water so that was not something I drank. While when I need something in that vein, I do shop at Bass Pro Shop but that is rare. I do not stop at Shell even though I’m a Harvick fan… I stop for gas whereever it is cheaper lol and that usually isn’t Shell lol Not cheapest all the time I do have some standards on my gas but at least somewhat cheaper. I’m not a Best Western girl even though I love their NASCAR commercials. I can smile when I think about how nice Scott Wimmer is when I stay at a Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express. We need a driver that I like sponsored by Hilton or Marriott lol I’m not with Allstate and I’m a big fan of their driver/commercials. McDonald’s okay who doesn’t love that $1 menu lol but I’m more an Arby’s girl most days lately but am not a Kenseth fan per se. Don’t hate him, just don’t care one way or another lol My favorite soft drink is Mt. Dew but most of my drivers are Coke drivers.
I’ve blogged about this before but after 3 very amusing conversations in the last 24 hours and a conference call that isn’t keeping me entertained lol yet here is another one….
Can ya tell I am sad I missed last week’s race and can’t wait for this week’s race???? lol
